ADG Zone Agra Anupam Kulshrestha, Aligarh IG Shalabh Mathur and Commissioner Aligarh Division Chaitra V. in Aligarh Assembly, Zakir Hussain School, Malviya Library, Primary School Dehligate, Chiranjilal Inter College Sasni Gate, Maheshwari Girls Inter College Madar Gate, Children Academy School and Khair The polling places established in Madan Mohan Malviya College Andla, Khair Inter College and Rashtriya Inter College in the assembly constituency were visited and inspected. District Election Officer Visakh ji traveled around on the voting day and kept a close watch.

Voting in two assemblies of Aligarh on May 7
There are seven assemblies in Aligarh district, out of which voting is going on in five assembly cities, Kol, Atrauli, Barauli, Khair on April 26. Voting will be held on May 7 in the remaining Chharra and Iglas assembly constituencies, which fall in Hathras Lok Sabha constituency.

Boycott of voting took place here
Well, at booth number 103 of village Lalgarhi Post Palseda of the assembly, the villagers boycotted the voting due to lack of development work in the village and none of the candidates of the three major parties visiting the village. On receiving information about the boycott, SDM Khair, Naib Tehsildar, Sector Magistrate etc. arrived and after convincing the villagers, voting started at around 11:30. There are total around 850 voters in the village, out of which more than 200 have voted.
Villagers boycotted the elections in Haivatpur Siya village of Jawan due to the bad condition of the main road. SDM reached the village to convince the villagers. Voting started at 12 noon. Voting was boycotted even when the sugar mill in Satha was not operational. Voting started at 12.30 pm. At the same time, villagers in Siypur also boycotted voting regarding the road. Voting started there at 12 o’clock. The pace remained slow at both the booths.

Anup Valmiki, Minister of State for Revenue in the UP government and BJP candidate from Hathras, cast his vote along with his wife in his native village Rakrana.
